Our family is like many. Dad & Mom have been married nearly 18 years. We homeschool 5 children, ages 15, 13, 6, 3, and 1. We love God and we love each other…though sometimes you have to listen closely to recognize it. We are slowly learning to seek that which God has put in place to help us, and look for Him in all things.
Dad works full time in a retail job, loves cars and golf, and enjoys spending time with his family.
Mom works at teaching the children, keeping the house (with help from Dad and the kids), and making every effort to keep things frugal and as easy as possible.
#1, our 15 year old daughter, enjoys art, Minecraft, and My Little Pony. She also passes her time with sewing and calligraphy.
Our 13 year old son, #2, also enjoys some basic sewing projects, likes to create things in Minecraft, loves learning about animals, has a creative outlook, and is in the process of setting up a comic book with a family member.
#3, our 6 year old daughter, enjoys drawing and coloring, singing and dancing, and My Little Pony. She tends to feel things very deeply and likes to think everyone has a fair deal.
Our 3 year old son is #4. He is very energetic and loves to be the center of attention. He’s fairly happy-go-lucky and will very quickly talk your ear off.
#5 is our 1 year old son. He’s busy exploring anything he can reach (and climbing to get to things he can’t reach). He loves music and will often be seen dancing to a familiar tune or being soothed by it.
God really has blessed our family with much love. We have our ups and downs, and things often seem to go sideways, but we’re learning every day to trust God a little more and remember that He is in control.
